today, we and Ms Candy Koh went to PLMGS primary to attend a carnival held by them, as we are invited. we are split into 2 groups of 9 and 10 each, and each group went to different booths for different activities. there were quite a lot of booths and the performers were outstanding and interesting.

the following are some of the leaflets given to us by different booths :

1. from the percussion booth

2. from the angklung booth - the angklungs sounds really nice

3. from the chimes booth - their performance was very nice & interesting, they made used of the concept of tuning fork, i think.

4. from the ukulele booth - they had a Hawaiian theme booth, it's like a mini version of guitar.

5. from the hand bell booth - they performed in the hall, on the stage as they needed lots of space for their instruments/hand bells.

6. from the Indian dance booth - they put up an interesting performance at the canteen

7. form the guitar booth - they played quite a few songs for us.

there are many more booths, but i didnt manage to get all the leaflets, if anyone is interested in contributing to this collection please kindly email the pictures to dunman_string@hotmail.com or pass the leaflets to me(peishi).

the trip was an eye-opener for us, as we are exposed to other musical instruments, those that, many of us havent see or heard of before. pictures taken will be posted up there soon, and anyone who would like to contribute pictures are welcome to email them to dunman_string@hotmail.com.

and, we thank Ms Candy Koh for accompanying us to the event.
