• March holiday schedules are out. if you do not have a copy, print out those that i uploaded below. the first one is for those in the "SYF team", the second is for those who isnt. be on time and at the correct venue.

• as mentioned before, anyone who cannot attend/has to leave early/go for practices late are supposed to give a parent's letter to Pearlyn, unless the reason why you cant be present/etc is due to school activities.
  

• at the same time, please be informed that, disciplinary action(s)will be taken against those who are absent without a valid reason and/or did not inform the teacher-in-charge(Ms Ong and Ms Luar)prior to the practice session.

• the SYF date is most probably either on the 28th or 29th April'09.

• all female member in the "SYF team" are required to meet Ms Ong at the atrium this Friday(13/03/09)at 12.3opm as the tailor will be dropping by to take your measurements for the SYF costume. the cost of the costume is estimated to be around S$60.00 - more details will be provided soon.

• this Monday's and Wednesday's practice sessions for all members will be cancelled due to the Common Test. however, practice will resume on this Friday(13/03/09)for those in the "SYF team".

• string practices are held as usual - Mondays and Wednesdays from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.
• the songs we are currently practicing are St Paul's Suite(Jig), Serenade and Suite & Light. Please kindly practice at home - espeically for those that are unable to some of the practice sessions.

• those who didnt attend the practice session on Friday(15 Aug '08), please remember to give Pearlyn a parents' letter ASAP and practice your songs at home to catch up with the rest of the ensemble.
• there will be practice, as usual, on this coming Monday(18 Aug '08), however, practice on this coming Wednesday(20 Aug '08)is cancelled due to the Common Tests.
• the songs the ensemble is currently practicing is still Suite & Light, Serenade and St. Paul's Suite(Jig).
• the usage of hand-phones during practices are NOT allowed.

• valid reason for late coming is revised. valid reason = compulsory activities, e.g. CIP(coming late due to projects are not considered as a valid reason, unless it's the teacher who made you stay back). and even with a valid reason, do inform Pearlyn(the secretary)beforehand - and give letter(s)to her if needed.
• the person in charge of all of the rooms' keys from last practice(30 July'08)will be Joyce(quarter/room master)from Violin2. kindly approach her if you would need the string room key during practice - however, please remember to lock the string room and return the keys to Joyce afterwards.
• everyone must pack up and re-arrange back all the furniture of the practice room(mostly music room)before they can be dismissed - offeneders9without a valid reason)will be punished.
• the songs we practiced during the last practice(30 July'08)are serenade and suite & light - those that didnt attend the practice session, kindly self-practice at home so as to catch up with the others that have already started.
• please self-practice at home till the next practice on this coming Monday(4 August'08).

• everyone is to wear their cca t-shirt on every Monday's practice.

• the whole ensemble is currently practice 2 new songs, suite & light + serenade. please try to practice hard at home.
• for those who have not paid the money(S$20.00)for string's tee, please kindly pay it lastest by Wednesday(the next string practice)to Ms(Faith)Ong, Ms Luar or Pearlyn. thanks.
• everyone is to bring their own scores, files(black), instruments and pencil(for 'note taking')for every practice.
• those that still havent provide Peishi and Pearlyn with your(correct/lastest)contact details, please kindly do so ASAP so that we can do up the contact list. thank you.
• all string members must wear their string tee on every practice on Monday. thank you for your co-operation =-)
